Viking’s 2008 Itineraries

After great results in 2007, and experiencing faster growth than ever, Viking River Cruises have announced big plans for the rest of 2008. Highlights of the cruise line’s itineraries include Europe, China, Russia and Ukraine, as well as the newly-added eight-day Rhine Discovery tour which includes The Black Forest and Amsterdam’s Van Gogh Museum. Viking’s second new tour is Paris to Prague, which features the Moselle and Rhine Rivers.

In addition to this, the line are offering other European river cruises along the Seine, Rhone and Elbe Rivers - where guests can see Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam, Budapest and Prague. Russian Rhapsody, Viking’s Russian itinerary for 2008 also now offers three nights in St.Petersburg and three nights in Moscow, beginning in Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad) on the Volga River. Viking River Cruises is also in the process of totally renovating Viking Surkov - a £3 million programme, transforming the ship to include all deluxe staterooms and suites, with upgraded but traditional bathrooms.
